Maximize Your Jump

The message in this video is that it’s essential for players to use more than their legs as they propel off the floor to hit. Mike Schall, coach at Triangle Volleyball Club in North Carolina, offers tips on how players can use their arms to improve their jump. In the second part of the video, you’ll see his players demonstrate an approach and hit that is enhanced by a good back swing. Take note of the exact point when players swing their arms back.
