Westside has hired Debbie Sokol as their Director of Training for the 2011-2012 Season. Debbie Sokol begins her 28th year as owner and director of one of the largest volleyball camps in the nation. She has played and coached at the collegiate, national and international levels and has built a reputation that is well respected throughout the national volleyball community. The Associate Director of Training will be Ap Clarke (Bellaire High School), and the Director of Coaches will be John Turner (Pearland High School).
Westside has its own club girls volleyball team, the "Westside Wranglers". All players on the teams must be club members. The Club Volleyball Program is a competitive team program for ages 13 and above. These teams practice and train at Westside and travel to a variety of competitive tournaments throughout the season. For those younger, who are interested in the sport, Westside offers Training Teams designed to prepare 12 and under players for competitive play. Westside also offers specialized clinics and summer training camps through Sokol Volleyball.
